Pet of the Week
Stella, is a young, adult, female Rottweiler mix. Stella is available for adoption because her owners could no longer take care of her. Stella is current on all vaccines and spayed. She is a treat to have around, if you would like to meet Stella, you may call the shelter at 706-298-3606. Shelter location and hours are 1390 Orchard Hill Rd. Mon-Fri 10 to 5 or Sat 10 to 12. We ask that if you have another dog(s) or children that you bring them with you to meet Stella. The Humane Society office, which is located in the shelter, is open 11 to 3 Mon-Fri. Office number is 706-298-3608.
The mobile unit will be at Walmart in LaGrange on May 19th from 11 am to 3 pm with adoptable dogs and cats. Weather permitting.
Remember, when you adopt a shelter pet, you help future animals coming through the shelter to find homes as well by freeing up shelter space and providing funds for future needs.
June 23rd Summer Adoption Blast Day , at the shelter located on Orchard Hill Rd, from 10 am to 2 pm. Brusters will be on site with Hots Dogs, Ice Cream and MORE. All cat adoption fees will be half off the regular adoption fee for the month of June.
WE NEED HELP!
Help us help the animals. We still need volunteers to assist with taking our animals out into the community, doing fundraisers, taking animals to the vet and much, much more. If you would like a way to give back to your community and not sure how to get started, please consider becoming a volunteer to help speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.
