The objective of this Society shall be to prevent cruelty and suffering of animals; to enhance animal welfare through education, quality adoption, comfortable living conditions; and to maintain a robust spay and neuter program.
The Lagrange - Troup County Humane Society strives to improve the lives of animals by educating the public on the humane treatment of animals, including the importance of spaying or neutering, current vaccinations, annual veterinary examinations, and the proper care and treatment of animals.
The LaGrange - Troup County Humane Society partners with the City of LaGrange Animal Shelter to transfer dogs into our care to help adopt fully spayed or neutered, healthy pets into our local community.
Serving Troup County, Georgia, an area of 414 square miles, including the cities of LaGrange, West Point and Hogansville. Our new Shelter is a 4400 square foot facility on a 5-acre piece of property. It includes 60 inside and outside pens, four quarantine pens, adoption, education, grooming, and food preparation rooms, and utility space.
